Role Overview:

Lead cross-disciplinary project controls teams providing planning, cost control, and risk management services on complex energy projects, primarily nuclear sector. Ensure robust governance, integrated project controls, and support client decision-making with accurate data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop project controls teams to deliver consistent, high-quality services
  • Define and implement governance, assurance, and project controls methodologies
  • Manage project controls deliverables in line with NEC or FIDIC contracts
  • Support scope definition, baseline setting, and change control processes
  • Integrate scope, cost, risk, and schedule for performance analysis
  • Coach client and project teams on performance management practices
  • Manage stakeholder communication including senior leadership updates
  • Oversee use of software tools (Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel)
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience with major projects and project lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of project controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in diverse and complex environments
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Willingness to work in the nuclear sector and obtain BPSS security clearance
  • Membership in a professional body such as APM or PMI desirable
