Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Project Controls Manager to guide delivery teams on a major national programme from a PMO vantage. You will integrate cost, schedule and risk data and provide senior leaders with actionable insights for informed decisions.

You will lead monthly performance updates, develop KPI reporting, and mentor a team of project controls professionals while collaborating with Procurement, Commercial and Estimating. Hybrid working in the UK is supported.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience on large-scale nuclear or major infrastructure projects.
  • Membership of a professional body (APM/CaSA/RICS) or working toward it.
  • Experience administering NEC4 contracts (Option C) desirable.
  • NEC PM accreditation or CPD desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the collation, validation and integration of cost, schedule and risk information for internal reporting.
  • Prepare, review and present performance reports to stakeholders with clear insights.
  • Produce and manage KPI reporting to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, costings, logic, resourcing and planning quality.
  • Create reporting outputs in Excel and ideally PowerBI.

**Project Controls Manager****Location:** Manchester, Warrington or Derby with Hybrid Working**Why we need you**We need you to play a key role in guiding, challenging, and supporting our delivery teams across the SMR programme. As a Project Controls Manager, you’ll bring together cost, schedule and risk information to tell the story of project performance—helping senior leaders make informed decisions and enabling successful delivery across a major national infrastructure programme.You’ll act as the conscience of the project: integrating data, ensuring accuracy, and providing meaningful insights that support continuous improvement.
