Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to join our growing team based in Glasgow.

The Project Controls Manager will be part of our Scotland Project Controls team, working with a diverse range of clients to deliver best practice controls, planning, analytics, reporting, risk, change, resource, and performance management solutions across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver Project Controls across major infrastructure construction projects in Scotland.
2. Lead the programme controls function, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, costs, safety, environment, and performance reporting; deploy team resources effectively.

Other responsibilities include:

• Review new project proposals to develop realistic, resourceable plans for delivery.
• Identify resourcing needs and coordinate with planning teams to resolve issues.
• Provide efficient daily support to Programme and Project Managers through reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment, and performance.
• Ensure data input meets standards for cost and performance systems.
• Manage the production of the Investment Plan and adhere to the Investment Competence Framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, control, and analysis in field and office settings.
• Experience in construction infrastructure projects, including defence, rail, aviation, highways, nuclear, power, energy, water sectors.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and software applications.
• Experience with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office; knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
