Job summary

  3. Reporting and accountability: Reporting to the PMO & delivery commercial lead, working with the PMO commercial function and the i-PMO project controls director. Interface with all functions to update the control budget and provide cost advice. External interface with stakeholders including clients and delivery partners. Contributing to the development of processes or publications relevant to the field.
  4. Cost management: Maintaining the control budget, developing control budget tools, EAC reporting, trend analysis, and managing design change costs.
  5. Project controls: Leading and directing project teams in the administration of the PMO and project controls processes, especially regarding cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting.
  6. Leadership and development: Mentoring and coaching project teams, sharing knowledge, networking, innovating, and seeking best practices. Leading recruitment and managing development, retention, and mobility of staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to achieve security clearance (BPSS or higher)
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
  • Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations impact projects
