This role offers a unique chance to dive into project management methodologies, scheduling, cost control and risk management, all while undergoing 30 months of accredited training.

As an apprentice for Clancy, we will set you up for success, by assigning you with a mentor and ensuring you have sufficient time to study. You will also have wider opportunities to get involved with local community and social value activities.

Here are some of the things that you'll get involved with…

  • Collaborate on the development and upkeep of project schedules using project management tools.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Keep a close eye on project progress against set schedules, flagging any deviations or risks.
  • Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Help with identifying and analysing project risks and crafting mitigation strategies when necessary.
  • Contribute to the creation and monitoring of project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in project meetings, documenting key decisions and action items.
  • Support the implementation of project controls processes and procedures to maintain organisational standards.
  • Assist with evaluating project performance metrics and suggesting improvements for future projects.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate…

We're keen to hear from self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates, who have great communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse data.

The apprenticeship is Project Controls Level 3 which requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A-C/4-9 including English & Maths.

There will be some travel to other offices including Harefield and Reading.

What You Will Achieve...

After successful completion of the End Point Assessment, you will be eligible to apply for membership of the Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE) as a Graduate Member.

You will also be eligible to apply for registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech), subject to having suitable engineering experience and undergoing a professional review process.
