Job description

Job Title: Project Controller/ Cost controller

Location: Glasgow, UK

You will be overseeing the financial and operational aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What will you do?

  • Monthly update of the project financials and explanation of variances between actuals and forecast/budget
  • Prepare project forecast (revenue, cost, cash flow) with support from project team (project director, planner, QS)
  • Monthly review of the project cost to complete
  • Timely implementation of project changes
  • Manage the Audit process and position papers (requires proper documentation of project changes)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in project control, preferably within the Energy construction or EPC sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the construction and EPC principles and practices, as well as Energy industry-specific regulations and standards.
