Job summary

Un leader dans le secteur de l'ingénierie recherche un Project Controller/Cost Controller pour superviser les aspects financiers et opérationnels des projets EPC à Glasgow. Vous serez responsable de la mise à jour financière mensuelle et de la préparation des prévisions, avec une collaboration étroite avec les équipes de projet. Qualifications

• Expérience en gestion de projet, de préférence dans le secteur de la construction d'énergie ou EPC.
• Connaissance des principes et des pratiques de la construction et des réglementations spécifiques au secteur énergétique.

Responsibilities

• Mise à jour mensuelle des finances du projet et explication des écarts.
• Préparation des prévisions du projet (revenu, coûts, flux de trésorerie).
• Gestion du processus d'audit et de la documentation des changements de projet.

Job Title: Project Controller/ Cost controller

Location: Glasgow, UK

You will be overseeing the financial and operational aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What will you do?

• Monthly update of the project financials and explanation of variances between actuals and forecast/budget
• Prepare project forecast (revenue, cost, cash flow) with support from project team (project director, planner, QS)
• Monthly review of the project cost to complete
• Timely implementation of project changes
• Manage the Audit process and position papers (requires proper documentation of project changes)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in project control, preferably within the Energy construction or EPC sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification.
• Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the construction and EPC principles and practices, as well as Energy industry-specific regulations and standards.
