Project Controller – Bristol (with occasional travel to Belfast)As a Project Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the scheduling, financial performance, and overall success of major projects. While our base is in Bristol, our client engagements span the Southwest—with occasional travel to Belfast required depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain realistic project timelines, monitoring critical paths and dependencies to minimize delays.

  • Performance Reporting: Track project progress, report key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate milestones to stakeholders.

  • Risk Management: Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks related to budget, scheduling, and resources.

  • Financial Control: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to ensure projects stay within financial parameters.

  • Tools & Systems: Utilize and optimize project management tools such as ERP systems, Primavera, and MS Project.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in project scheduling, planning, cost control, and risk management.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APM PMQ/PPQ, PRINCE2, PMP) are a plus.
  • Support provided for APM qualifications as part of your development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to travel—including occasional travel to Belfast.
