Matchtech is supporting a client in Guildford, Surrey who seeks a Project Controller to lead project finance, bid costings and financial governance. You will collaborate with the Bid Manager and Project Managers to control costs, forecasts and reporting.

You will ensure IFRS 15 compliance, drive process improvements, and manage risk across engineering and manufacturing projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a similar project-related finance role.
• Understanding of IFRS 15 and project accounting standards.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with project management software like S4 Hana.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and multitasking capability.
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Operate as finance lead on bidding activities with accurate costings and criteria.
• Collaborate with Bid Manager to set milestone payment plans and bids packs.
• Ensure compliance with Bid Process and maintain financial control over projects.
• Work with Project Managers to meet financial objectives, review costs, forecasts.
• Present financial status in reviews and manage project risk registers.
• Resolve queries, provide management accounting data, and support audits.
• Identify improvements to finance and business processes.
