We are looking for a Project Controller for a 6 Month contract based in Derby (Remote working - 3 days in office, 2 working from home) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

As a Project Controller, you would be supporting the Project Manager to govern, manage and report on a portfolio of project and supporting the delivery of key milestones.

As a Project Controller, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Organising and facilitating the regular drum beat of meetings.
  • Co-ordinating inputs as part of the process to support annual commitments, including 5YP and resource planning.
  • Co-ordinating and reporting on risk management across the team.
  • Supporting, and implementing assurance checks for, the change management process for the portfolio.
  • Interfacing with the PMO to implement best practice and ensure alignment with company management processes.

The Ideal Project Controller Candidate Will Have

  • Experience of working as a Project Controller in portfolio environment
  • Demonstrated significant personal accountability for Quality, Time, Cost, and performance.
  • Confidence using SAP
  • Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience and member of a professional body and working towards an APMPQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and global environment.
