The role involves coordinating complex operations on a cable layer repair vessel, ensuring precision and safety during critical operations. Your expertise in offshore cable laying and winch handling will be essential, and you'll work with innovative technologies alongside experienced international teams.
As a Control Tower Winch Operator (Anchor Foreman) on a cable layer repair vessel, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating complex operations to keep the vessel in position for its operational duties. Based in the control tower, you will oversee and manage the winch and cable handling systems during cable laying, repair and retrieval operations. You are responsible for ensuring that all movements are executed with precision, safety and efficiency. As the operational nerve centre, the decisions you make will directly impact the success of the mission and the safety of the crew.
