A leading aerospace company offers a Project Controls Professional Degree Apprenticeship based in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for aspiring professionals eager to develop skills in project management. Responsibilities include implementing control systems and participating in risk management. The position offers a salary of £23,000 with various benefits, including half days on Fridays and 25 days holiday.

The Project Controls Professional Degree Apprenticeship will sit within the Maritime, Land and Modems Pillar of Space Digital.
The pillar specialises in supplying mission critical communications on land, at sea and in the air - providing next generation connectivity through secure end to end communication systems and services to militaries, governments and international agencies. As part of this degree apprenticeship, you will be studying at the University of Portsmouth while working within the team at Airbus.
What you will be doing: The Project Controls Professional Degree Apprentice will work with experienced programme and project managers to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, safely and on time, on cost and on quality (OTOCOQ). This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, to develop their knowledge of planning and scheduling, cost management, cost and risk analysis, estimating, progress and performance monitoring and reporting across all stages of the project lifecycle.
During your time at Airbus, you will interact with people across the business from the project and programme managers to engineers and procurement, finance and commercial specialists. This will enable you to build collaborative relationships across teams, and functions, to deliver meaningful work in accordance with the requirements of regulations, safety, ethics, the environment and duty of care.
