Job summary

Network IT Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Project Control Officer to join and support a Project Management team in Milton Keynes. You will help keep projects on track by managing project controls, monitoring budgets, risks, issues and ensuring delivery against plans and business requirements.

You will coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, support governance, maintain documentation, and produce regular financial/project reports while working 3 days on site and

Qualifications

• Background in Project Support/Project Controls/Project Administration.
• Experience in Defence, Government or Public Sector projects.
• Excellent drafting and minute-taking skills.
• Strong numerical and project financial skills.
• Organisational and time management abilities with competing priorities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and MS Project 2007.
• Experience in large or multiple projects.
• Qualified in APM Fundamentals or Prince 2.
• Knowledge of Oracle financial systems.

Job description

Network IT Recruitment is currently hiring for a highly experienced Project Control Officer to join and support a Project Management team with our client in Milton Keynes.

This is a challenging opportunity to provide comprehensive project support across a portfolio of projects, working closely with Programme and Project Managers.

You'll play a key role in keeping projects on track, managing project controls, monitoring budgets and costs, supporting governance and ensuring delivery against agreed plans and business requirements.You'll act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate project and programme meetings, manage risks and issues, support commercial gate reviews and maintain project documentation.

You'll also monitor workstreams, challenge progress where required, maintain project plans using MS Project, and produce regular financial and project reports.

Please note, the level of clearance required for this role is DV (we can consider SC Cleared candidates). We are only able to accept applications from candidates with British Citizenship.

Rate: Circa £360 per day

Duration: 6 months

Status: Inside IR35

Location: Milton Keynes

Working Practice: 3 days on site, 2 remote
