Job description

Job Title: Project Controls Manager – Risk

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

· Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team in the effective management of risk and opportunities for the entire Site & Facilities portfolio

· Identifying key risk drivers and effective mitigation strategies

· Driving the delivery of reducing the risk profile across all project and programmes through effective collaboration with the project teams

· Working within BAE project controls governance framework

· Managing the production of site-wide risk reporting requirements to be presented to senior management and customers

· Driving and maintaining reporting cadence within the Site & Facilities Project delivery organisation and setting standards and governance

· Coaching the deployed teams by monitoring the quality of work and contributing to performance management

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

· Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2) or equivalent experience

· An experienced Risk practitioner

· Previous Experience in construction/Manufacturing.

· The ability to communicate and able to adapt language to suit different stakeholders at all levels of the business including technical teams and senior stakeholders

Desirable:

· Knowledge of Submarines and complex Programme delivery

· Previous experience working within Site & Facilities/Infrastructure environment
