Job title: Project Control Manager

Salary: £61,110

What you'll be doing:

  • Will support for the PC strategy in the Business or project and manage a team of PC professionals and liaise with other business functions will be essential to the delivery of progress and performance information
  • Execution of an effective and appropriate TED meeting review structure, whilst summarising and synthesising information for review and decision making. Lead the identification of issues requiring escalation
  • Generate PC management reporting in line with business requirements, on behalf of TED including Leadership Review, Growth Review, QCR etc
  • Lead mobilisation and PC planning activities associated with the development of the Typoon Export Delivery organisation during the maturation of the solutions as well as the mobilisation activities
  • Support in driving the Integrated Business Planning process from a TED perspective linking strategy development and bid management to the assumptions, demanding planning and investment requirements. Lead the generation of IBP Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting
  • Lead in the application of robust PC processes ensuring completion of the appropriate reviews underpinned by the required deliverables in support of the overall bid timescales

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Proven ability to establish efficient and effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in bid and proposal management and support the early stages of a bid
  • Strong project control, governance, and assurance skills
  • Capable of managing medium-complexity projects or work packages
  • Skilled in data analysis, spreadsheet creation, and presenting insights with commercial awareness
  • Proactive problem-solver with a track record of delivering practical solutions

Desirable:

  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)
