Job summary

NG Bailey Engineering is seeking a Project Commissioning Manager to lead MEP commissioning for HS2. The role ensures a planned, auditable and structured commissioning approach and that installed building services meet design intent.

You will oversee master programme aligned activities, lead site commissioning, ensure client acceptance of documents, and coordinate with project management and specialist contractors while maintaining Safe Systems of Work and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in leading commissioning activities.
• MEP/building services background.
• The ability to coach and lead by example.
• Comfortable and experienced in a client facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning activities in line with the master programme.
• Take ownership of ensuring correct site commissioning activities.
• Ensure client acceptance of Commissioning Procedure documents.
• Oversee witnessing and close out of commissioning through to client acceptance.
• Liaise with project managers' representatives.
• Liaise with specialist commissioning contractors.
• Write and maintain Safe Systems of Work including risk assessments.
• Ensure all pre-commissioning system checks and reports are produced.

Summary

NG Bailey are currently looking for a Project Commissioning Manager with experience of MEP to join our team to work on HS2.

In this role you will ensure that a planned, programmed, auditable and structured approach to the commissioning process is carried out to the highest standards, making sure the installed building services operate in accordance with the design intent.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Oversee commissioning activities in accordance with the master programme.
• Take ownership ofensuring correct site commissioning activities.
• Ensure client acceptance of Commissioning Procedure documents
• Oversee the witnessing and close out of commissioning activities through to gaining client acceptance
• Liaise with the project managers representatives
• Liaise with specialist commissioning contractors
• Write andmaintain Safe Systems of Work including risk assessments.
• Ensureall pre commissioning system checks and reports are produced as needed.
