Job Title: Project Commercial Manager (Contract)

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Commercial Manager (contract) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical, renewable energy, and energy transition industries.

The successful candidate will work with a 'Project Commercial' team on one or more projects, providing commercial support. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing the project EPC contracting strategy in collaboration with the client.
  2. Identifying and prequalifying potential EPC contractors.
  3. Overseeing the development of EPC invitation to bid (ITB) packages.
  4. Managing the EPC contracting process in accordance with contracted scope of services.
Minimum Requirements:
  • An appropriate professional qualification (legal training or wider project commercial experience is acceptable).
  • Good understanding of the oil and gas petrochemical, renewable energy, and energy transition contracting environments.
  • Knowledge of different EPC contracting strategies, including their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Hands-on experience managing tenders for large, complex, high-value contracts and licensor technology packages.
  • Experience managing project commercial issues in relevant industries.
  • Working knowledge of key terms within engineering services head contracts.
