Project Co-Ordinator - Precast Concrete Manufacturing

Sector: Manufacturing, Project and Program Management
Role: Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time

Project Co-Ordinator (5710)
Location: Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction, Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Step off site and into the future of construction.

This is your opportunity to be part of something truly game-changing.

At Laing O'Rourke, we're reshaping how the UK builds - and it starts at our Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction (CEMC) in Worksop. Home to Explore Manufacturing, Europe's most automated concrete products facility, we're delivering major infrastructure projects with unmatched quality, efficiency and sustainability.

From modular bridges to precast concrete components, our advanced manufacturing methods are turning traditional construction on its head - and we're looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to help make it happen.

The Opportunity

As Project Co-Ordinator, you'll be at the heart of the action - acting as the crucial link between design, manufacturing and on-site assembly across some of the UK's biggest and most exciting construction and infrastructure projects.

This is an ideal role for a site engineer or construction manager looking to step into an office-based role, gain deep insight into precast manufacturing, and broaden their career within modern construction delivery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the flow of manufactured products from factory to site - on time, in sequence, and to spec.
  • Acting as the single point of contact for everything from programming and production to quality and delivery.
  • Translating client requirements into a robust delivery plan - ensuring design, programme, and specification align.
  • Tracking progress across all elements - design, delivery, and supply chain - and ensuring smooth coordination.
  • Attending site meetings, resolving technical queries, and supporting the investigation of any quality concerns.
What we're looking for:
  • Degree-qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with precast concrete is an advantage - but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills - you're the glue between teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the drive to keep projects moving forward.
We value potential over perfection.

Even if you don't tick every box, if you bring relevant experience and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
