Job Description:

The Faculty of History wishes to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of "Creating the New Economy," an international and interdisciplinary three-day conference, to be held in May 2025 at the University of Cambridge.

The Project Coordinator will oversee the organisation of this event, working closely with the PIs, they will oversee all aspects of the budget, liaise with team members and partner institutions, administer the arrival, stay, and departure of speakers and guests, and ensure the smooth running of the conference at every stage, from the planning phase in the coming months, the days of the conference itself, and its immediate aftermath.

We are looking for a highly organised individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent and who has previous experience of working in a administrative/project role and who can demonstrate advanced knowledge of project co-ordination. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong research, analysis and reporting skills.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2025 in the first instance.
