The Vacancy
Our Third Party Administration (TPA) department is a dynamic administration team with a varied portfolio of clients. They play a key part in providing our clients and members with a market-leading service on Defined Benefits (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and CARE pension arrangements.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join this department as a Project Coordinator, within our Third Party Administrationteam in our Birmingham, Edinburgh or Glasgow Office.
What will your role look like?
You will deliver high quality support in the delivery of a range of Client and Member Experience projects within our Third Party Administration business unit.
Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:
- Support Project Managers to successfully deliver projects.
- Plan and organise and lead project meetings, including the production and sharing of meeting agendas, supporting papers, minutes and updating the tasks board.
- Create and update internal Teams sites and client SharePoint sites/files; ensuring accurate version control procedures are maintained.
- Track and report on project budget spends and support the client billing process.
- Monitor and maintain project documentation to ensure this provides an accurate picture of progress at any point in timeand facilitates regular reporting.
- With guidance, create and develop project plans and other key project control documentation, based on agreed deliverables and timescales.
- Manage RAID logs.
- Ensure project tasks are progressed/completedwithin pre-agreed timescales.
- Travel to client meetings and other Hymans Robertson offices, should this be required.
To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a project role coupled with a strong desire to pursue a career as a project professional.
- Confident and experienced in facilitating meetings with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills to successfully meet deadlines and manage workloads.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. MS Project experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- An excellent communicator who works in a partnering and collaborative way and experienced in liaising directly with senior stakeholders / clients/ third parties.
- A problem-solver with a strong can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- Able to remain calm and continue to deliver under pressure.
- Works flexibly in a fast-moving environment.
It would be advantageous for candidates to have previous pensions knowledge but this is not essential for the role.
