Job description

ramsac provides high quality, people focussed, service led managed IT services to aspirational growth businesses in the UK. Our target customers are 50 to 500 users and they demand IT solutions that are efficient, secure, highly available and easy to use.

Why your job is important to us

We are “the secure choice” for all our customers, providing them with round the clock reassurance that their IT is safe, resilient and in good health. Delivering high quality, smoothly run projects is a key priority for us. We aim to drive internal efficiencies, improve client communications, and ensure that every client feels positive about any project we deliver.

As project coordinator, you will take ownership of an agreed scope of work from the sales team during the delivery phase of the project. You will act as the primary contact for the client, ensuring all commitments are met and that they are well-informed about any changes. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure clear communication internally and externally throughout the project.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a varied portfolio of client projects for organisations in the SME sector, often running several projects simultaneously.
  2. Managing resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Owning the project process from initial sale to final delivery, ensuring alignment of resources, clear communication, successful achievement of deliverables, and accurate documentation.
  4. Leading internal and external meetings throughout the project lifecycle to keep projects on track.
  5. Handling project delays, issues, or scope changes, ensuring all stakeholders understand next steps and costs, and communicating updates to internal teams.
  6. Providing regular project updates internally and to key stakeholders.
  7. Gathering client feedback post-project and suggesting improvements for future projects.
  8. Providing holiday cover and onboarding new clients.
  9. Promoting the ethos of high standards through well-managed projects.

About You

We seek individuals who are motivated, well-organized, and proactive. Our ideal team member embodies the values of going the extra mile and providing attentive, high-quality service. Are you confident, dedicated, and eager to be part of this team?

What’s Really Important To Us

  • Experience managing IT projects, preferably within the SME sector.
  • Experience leading calls such as kick-offs, progress updates, and closure meetings.
  • Experience in implementing or modifying internal project processes.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Innovative and proactive in suggesting ideas.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and appropriate use of processes without compromising client relationships.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and work as part of a team to drive growth and strategy.
  • Willingness to develop personal skills continually.
  • Calmness under pressure and a client-focused attitude.

The icing on the cake

  • Experience in a multi-client environment.
  • Experience in a technical role.
  • Project management qualifications or formal training.
