KNOW Due to an exciting new programme which is going to see us deliver for our customers a full mains renewal across the UK over the next few years, we are now on a significant recruitment drive to scale our teams to deliver this fantastic work. This is your opportunity to play a part in this exciting transformation!

We are looking for a Project Co-Ordinator who will be supporting the Assistant Programme Managers. The Project Co-Ordinator is primarily responsible for the coordination of supply chain requirements (equipment, fittings, materials, plant, etc.). Reporting to the Programme Manager for the West region based at our Shelton site, the Project Co-Ordinator will work closely with the Assistant Programme Managers to ensure that all Mains Renewal activity runs smoothly. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Support with the end-to-end scheme coordination, planning & scheduling of resources, equipment, and forecasting costs and delivery profiles.
  2. Responsible for the selection of project areas based on strict affordability and benefit criteria.
  3. Support with planning, ordering, and coordinating all plant, equipment, materials, and fittings for the scheme, liaising with supply chain to proactively manage delivery dates in line with the programme timeline.
  4. Ensure all materials and equipment are costed within the plan and organized to arrive at the relevant time.
  5. Keep SAP or relevant systems up to date with the latest delivery and cost figures related to schemes.
  6. If there is a change to project scope, support onsite construction teams to arrange emergency equipment, plant, or tools as required.
  7. Support Assistant Programme Managers to ensure all documentation, including CDM and legal documents, are up to date and collated for all schemes.
What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will have project management experience in some capacity. Experience within the utilities or water industry would be beneficial. A full UK Driving License is required as this role involves traveling to different sites across a region.
