Due to an exciting new programme to deliver a full mains renewal across the UK over the next few years, we are now on a significant recruitment drive to scale our teams for this work.

We are looking for a Project Co-Ordinator with Highways Permitting experience. The Project Co-Ordinator will primarily coordinate supply chain requirements (equipment, fittings, materials, plant, etc.).

Reporting to the Programme Manager with flexible base locations within the Midlands.

The Project Co-Ordinator will work closely with Assistant Programme Managers to ensure smooth Mains Renewal activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting end-to-end scheme coordination, planning, scheduling resources, equipment, and forecasting costs and delivery profiles.
  • Responsible for selecting project areas based on strict affordability and benefit criteria.
  • Supporting planning, ordering, and coordinating all plant, equipment, materials, and fittings, liaising with supply chain to manage delivery dates aligned with the programme.
  • Ensuring all materials and equipment are costed within the plan and organized for timely arrival.
  • Updating SAP or relevant systems with latest delivery and cost figures.
  • Providing support to onsite teams for scope changes, arranging emergency equipment or tools as needed.
  • Supporting documentation updates, including CDM and legal documents, for all schemes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Project management experience is essential. Experience within utilities or water industries is beneficial. A full UK Driving License is required as travel across sites within the region will be necessary.
