Job Description:

A leading designer and supplier of control systems to the construction industry has an immediate requirement for a Project Clearance Specialist to join their team at their offices in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Location: Sunbury on Thames, TW16 6SB

Salary: Circa £35,000

Role Overview: As a Project Clearance Specialist, your role will involve technically cleaning, clearing, and processing projects from CPQ into ERP systems for procurement and further processing by the Operations Team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Be highly customer-focused and a team player.
• Highly numerate and articulate with good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize.
• Practical problem-solver.
• Initiative-driven and KPI-focused, with experience working towards targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Special Competencies:

• PC literate and proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, NBS/performance specifications, and contractual documents.
• Familiar with CAD drawing tools.
• Familiar with automatic doors or aluminium profile systems (preferred).
• Familiar with CPQ and ERP systems (preferred).
• Understanding of contractual variation orders and commercial awareness (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of sales targets by verifying quotations to ensure accurate "Clean Orders" for ERP processing.
• Manage project folders to ensure timely processing through design into operations, aligned with customer schedules and lead times.
• Ensure minimal margin erosion through accurate technical clearance.
• Support Operations Team to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Handover projects with necessary documentation and highlights of special requirements.
