A leading designer and supplier of control systems to the construction industry has an immediate requirement for a Project Clearance Specialist to join their team at their offices in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Location: Sunbury on Thames, TW16 6SB

Salary: Circa £35,000

Role Overview

Your role as a Project Clearance Specialist will involve technically cleaning, clearing, and processing projects from CPQ into ERP systems to prepare for procurement and subsequent processing by the Operations Team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Highly numerate and articulate with good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize.
• Practical problem-solver.
• Ability to take the initiative and work KPI-driven, with experience working towards weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Special Competencies

• Proficient in MS Office – Essential.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, NBS/performance specifications, and contractual documentation – Essential.
• Familiar with CAD drawing tools – Essential.
• Familiar with automatic doors or aluminium profile systems – Preferred.
• Familiar with CPQ systems – Preferred.
• Familiar with ERP systems – Preferred.
• Commercial awareness regarding variation orders and contractual documents – Preferred.
• Knowledge of EN16005 standards.

Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of sales targets by ensuring the technical verification of quotations, enabling the processing of 'Clean Orders' into ERP systems for procurement and delivery by the Operations Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing project folders to ensure timely processing through design into operations, aligned with customer schedules and product lead times.
• Ensuring 'Clean Order' accuracy to minimize margin erosion from technical clearance through installation.
• Supporting the Operations Team to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Handover of projects to Operations, highlighting any special requirements, programs, or payment information.
