Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Project Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a design-led consultancy delivering roads, drainage and earthworks for diverse projects across Scotland. You will take on hands-on design responsibilities, work with senior engineers and contribute to quality design and client liaison.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3–6 years UK design experience, proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and active progression toward

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Around 3 to 6 years' UK design experience.
• Strong roads, drainage and infrastructure background.
• Working towards Chartership or keen to progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roads, drainage and earthworks design and modelling.
• Prepare drawings, reports, calculations and statutory submissions.
• Attend client and design team meetings.
• Support project coordination and programme delivery.
• Work closely with senior engineers and support junior staff.
