Your Mission as Project Buyer
As a key player in the global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organisation, you will:

1. Take ownership of the supply chain for a cutting-edge electron microscope product line.
2. Work closely with expert teams in the UK and Germany, and with global suppliers.
3. Drive supply chain strategies for new product launches and engineering changes.
4. Negotiate contracts that deliver value while fostering strong partnerships.
5. Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations to bring revolutionary products to life.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the supply chain representative for new product introductions and redesign projects.
2. Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies aligned with the company's vision.
3. Manage procurement processes with precision, from RFQs to purchase orders.
4. Oversee engineering change management to ensure flawless execution.
5. Address challenges head-on and implement creative solutions.
6. Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication.
