Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Project and Business Improvement Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Project & Business Improvement Coordinator to support the team for a 2 year fixed term period.

About the role

The Project and Business Improvement Coordinator will be part of a team who deliver effective project management to colleagues across the business using different project methodologies such as waterfall & agile.

In your role as Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for providing general programme and project management support across the organisation including scheduling meetings, recording & monitoring of actions, monitoring project plans and key deliverables, highlighting risks/issues and potential roadblocks.

You will also support lean service review initiatives aiming to deliver business & customer service improvements and efficiencies.

About you

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of project management and a minimum of 12 months of experience in coordination, administration, or project support. You will be highly organised and work well with others.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in project management and if you are interested, after probation, Karbon will support you to work towards getting a relevant project management qualification.

The successful candidate will work in our Project & Business Improvement team led by the Project and Business Improvement Manager - Lesley Keith.

  • Project and Business Improvement Coordinator - fixed term role for 24 months
  • Salary is 30,545 per annum
  • Location: Gosforth or Stanley
  • 37 Hours per week with agile working
