Project Business Analyst – Treasury System Upgrade (Quantum)

My client is a Global Energy Trading firm based in the UK looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Quantum upgrade expertise to join a high-impact Treasury transformation programme.

You'll work across business and IT to lead the capture of functional/non-functional requirements, shape solution direction, and ensure successful delivery of a major treasury system upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business problems into functional solutions
• Assess risks, feasibility, and business impact
• Model processes and data flows to drive improvements
• Own end-to-end requirement traceability and documentation
• Collaborate with software vendors, developers, and internal teams
• Define acceptance criteria and lead testing efforts
• Drive stakeholder engagement and lead design sessions
• Develop compelling business cases and secure funding

Skills Needed:

Proven Quantum upgrade experience

Agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc.)

7–10 years in IT, with leadership responsibilities

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Degree in IT or related field
