Job description

Project Assurance & Compliance Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Assurance & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Assurance and Compliance Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting assurance processes across our projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal governance requirements.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and utilise platforms such as Viewpoint for Projects to support documentation, risk tracking, audit preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of assurance and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Assist with internal audits and reviews, tracking outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain and update registers, risk logs, and key compliance records.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate incident reporting processes, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Help foster a compliance-first culture through training and awareness initiatives.
  • Work with project teams to embed strong governance practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of Health and Safety Files for all projects.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in an assurance and compliance role within the engineering or construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint for Projects is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of assurance processes, progressive assurance, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with document management systems such as Trimble, Bentley, or ProjectWise.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to produce clear reports and effectively communicate findings.
  • Commitment to promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement.
