Project Assistant

Overview:

HENI is an ArtTech business that has developed several platforms that enable artists to share work with the world.

We have a history in the physical art world and have developed platforms that focus on trading art, art education, art production and publishing. More recently we have moved into the digital art world and have developed an art news channel as well as our own NFT platform.

The Role

HENI is growing rapidly and we are now hiring multiple Project Assistants – this is a great entry-level opportunity, to get hands-on experience across incredibly unique and interesting projects.

The role is predominantly based on-site in central London, as you may be expected to work at our offices or the gallery. We may also be able to accommodate some flexible working or working from home, depending on how your role progresses and which tasks you are handling.

As you develop your skills and gain exposure to different parts of the business, you will be matched with departments where your strengths and interests can shine – such as numerical skills, strong communication, attention to detail, thorough research, and/or building excellent customer relationships.

For an ambitious and hardworking graduate, this is the perfect place to start your career in a broad role – you may eventually progress to handling more complex projects on your own, supporting the customer-facing teams, or even contributing to the field of data analytics. As the remit of the role will be incredibly varied, it would suit someone with a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude and eagerness to learn.

Full training will be provided so no prior knowledge or experience of art is required.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the data team in reviewing sources such as websites, books, videos (this can also involve travelling to art fairs or events) and entering data accurately into our growing database.
  • Researching into specific areas of interest – usually related to creative, technology, or cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties such as updating spreadsheets, preparing and organising files (digitally or physically), organising the office, diary management, ordering supplies etc.
  • Assisting with customer care, pre-sales or post-sales depending on the nature of the query.
  • Helping with digital marketing and content for the company's social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong academics would be advantageous, such as a First-Class university degree or equivalent (in any discipline).
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
  • High level of discretion and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with rolling sleeves up, juggle priorities, and willing to go above and beyond.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Pro-active, focused, and resilient person who enjoys problem-solving.
  • Be willing and able to travel abroad if necessary.

Benefits to you

  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • Boundless opportunities for career progression – not limited to just one department.
  • Commercially minded and forward-thinking leadership team who welcome positive change.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic colleagues who are passionate about what they do.
  • Regular check-ins and support to help you achieve your goals.
  • Entrepreneurial, start-up culture with consistent performance and continual growth.

Recruitment Process:

  1. If the above sounds of interest to you, please send through your CV.
  2. We will review applications on an ongoing basis – if successful, you will receive a link to our numerical & verbal reasoning test via email. The link will expire after 14 days and is specifically assigned to your email address. Please make sure you regularly check spam or junk folders.
  3. We recommend completing the test as soon as you can as we will check results continuously.
  4. We will then contact successful candidates to arrange video interviews.
  5. If you have any questions, you can contact the Recruitment team at HENI via email (recruitment@heni.com).
