Job description

Job Title: Project Assistant

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Contract Length: 4 months

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm)

Contract Type: Inside IR35

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-focused and reliable Project Assistant to support a busy team working on key projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry and communication skills, who enjoys a mix of desk-based and phone-based tasks. Full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and code large volumes of survey data
  • Handle incoming helpline calls from the public and organisations, offering information and support
  • Proofread survey content and assist with quality checks
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth project delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Strong data entry skills with a good balance of speed and precision
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and help out where needed
  • Must pass MRC training (80% pass rate required)

Desirable

  • Previous customer service or helpline experience is a plus
