At Cavendish Nuclear we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Project Assistant, at our Bristol or Newbury sites.

The Role
As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Operating at the entry level for the project manager structure, supporting the Process, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) project.

Day-to-day, you'll be supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules, as well as implementing the stakeholder and communications management plan:

  • Communication and reporting of risk management activities on the project.
  • Configuration management and change control activities on the project.
  • Communication with internal and external resources to manage their delivery.
  • Development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific outputs and work packages.
  • Monitor and control of schedules.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Bristol or Newbury, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience of the Project Assistant:

  • Awareness of the full project lifecycle experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management / communication skills.
  • Ideally, have experience in a similar sector but, this is not essential.

Qualifications for the Project Assistant:

  • APM Introductory Certificate (Project Fundamentals Qualification, PFQ) is highly desirable but, not required.

Security Clearance
