Job description

Anderselite recruitment are currently working with a Newport based architectural design practice currently looking to expand their team to meet increased project load. We are involved in a wide range of sectors including Residential, Commercial and Leisure.

The client welcomes applications from RIBA ARB registered Part III Architects, either newly qualified looking to gain experience of running jobs, or candidates with previous experience at this level.

Responsibilities:
Work on architectural projects from concept to planning stages, ensuring that projects meet client objectives and requirements while creating innovative and sustainable designs.
Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies, to ensure project success.
Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies and research to inform design decisions and project recommendations.
Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles.
Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders to communicate project vision and progress.
Prepare, coordinate and submit planning packages.
Stay informed of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the built environment while demonstrating self-motivation and interest in business development.

Requirements
Degree in Architecture
ARB registration in the UK (RIBA registration also desirable).
Experience of working in design teams or running projects, coordinating design teams and liaising directly with client’s, stakeholders and consultants.
Excellent design skills and a sound knowledge of Building Regulations, design standards and best practice.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
Experience of AutoCAD, Sketchup, photoshop, and Revit.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability and willingness to deliver projects, adapt to challenging situations and learn new skills.
Ability to work independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger projects
