Job description

A respected AJ100 studio based in South London is looking for a talented Architect to join their growing team. Known for delivering design-led, sustainable workplace projects, the practice has built a strong reputation for transforming existing buildings into highly considered and contemporary spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable architect with strong delivery experience to take a lead role on a significant commercial retrofit scheme, supported by an experienced, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of project delivery from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion

  • Coordinate and lead design and technical teams across all project stages

  • Manage consultant collaboration, client liaison, and internal resource planning

  • Oversee detailing, compliance, and on-site coordination

  • Contribute to the design development and uphold high design standards throughout

Skills & Experience:

  • Part III qualified (or equivalent) with proven UK project experience

  • Strong technical and delivery skills, particularly in retrofit and refurbishment projects

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • Experience managing teams and navigating complex project constraints

  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations; ArchiCAD proficiency is desirable but not essential
