Project Architect Job in Liverpool

Project Architect job in Liverpool leading the design and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes, from heritage re-use to new-build as part of a multidisciplinary team taking projects from first sketch to handover.

Join an employee-owned design studio that's part of a wider planning-led group. With architecture, masterplanning, landscape, and urban design all under one roof, the team takes a joined-up approach to projects, helping things move efficiently and collaboratively. Their work spans both public and private sectors, offering variety and long-term opportunity.

Role & Responsibilities

• Run architectural projects from concept to completion
• Lead design and technical stages (RIBA 0-7) for residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project stages
• Produce detailed construction packages, specifications and technical drawings
• Manage internal team workflows and mentor junior staff
• Carry out site visits, chair meetings and act as Contract Administrator.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience post qualification
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive mindset with a drive for continual improvement
• Experience across residential and commercial sectors
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (SketchUp desirable)
• Ability to lead and support team collaboration
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
