We are currently representing a talented, award-winning architectural practice based in Kettering, actively seeking a Project Architect to join their expanding team. This role offers an excellent career opportunity to develop within a well-established practice that provides excellent progression opportunities. Architects of various levels are encouraged to apply, as the client has multiple positions available due to an influx of projects.

The Project Architect will work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including Science, Commercial, and Education. The practice also occasionally undertakes projects in Residential, Healthcare, and Heritage sectors. Project values typically range from £5m to £40m. The successful candidate will collaborate within a team and work independently, managing projects from planning stages through to completion.

The client handles multi-million-pound projects, with a significant portion of their workload generated through recommendations and repeat business, reflecting their reputation for outstanding work. The office primarily uses Revit; knowledge of Revit is advantageous, but experience with other 3D software is acceptable as training can be provided.

Project Architect Job Overview

• Managing day-to-day project operations
• Working on projects valued between £5-40m across various sectors
• Producing planning and construction drawing packages, including drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Overseeing project delivery in collaboration with the team
• Communicating with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities, and building control
• Coordinating external consultants and internal team members
• Working within project teams and independently as required

Job Requirements

• ARB registered Architect
• Living within a commutable distance of Kettering
• Ability to manage a team and oversee projects from inception to completion
• Proven design and technical detailing skills, creativity, and problem-solving ability
• Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous
• Knowledge of Revit or other 3D BIM software such as ArchiCAD or Vectorworks
