Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment is representing a well-established architectural practice seeking a talented Project Architect to join their growing Kettering office. The role offers ownership of projects and hands-on delivery with Revit, across all RIBA stages.

The ideal candidate has about 5+ years' experience in practice, ARB registration, and can lead projects from inception to completion on education, commercial, student accommodation and heritage schemes, with typical project values around

Qualifications

• ARB Registered Architect with 5+ years in practice.
• Ability to lead projects across all RIBA stages.
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Proficient in Revit for BIM delivery.
• Experience on medium to large-scale (£10m+) projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects through all RIBA Stages from inception to completion.
• Manage day-to-day delivery, ensuring quality and programme.
• Produce planning, tender and construction drawing packages.
• Prepare technical detailing and construction information using Revit.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate internal teams and external consultants.
• Attend client meetings and site visits.
• Work on Education, Commercial, Student Accommodation, Heritage and Residential sectors.
• Take responsibility for project delivery while producing production work.

Salary: GBP38000 - GBP45000 per annum

We are currently representing a well-established, award-winning architectural practice that is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their growing Kettering office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an exciting period of growth following the recent expansion of a few other strategic offices.

This role would suit an Architect with around 5+ years' experience within practice who is looking to take ownership of projects whilst remaining hands-on with project delivery. The successful Architect will lead projects across all RIBA Stages, working closely with clients and consultants whilst producing high-quality technical information using Revit.

The practice works across a diverse range of sectors including Education, Commercial, Student Accommodation, Heritage and Cultural projects. Current projects include new schools, student accommodation developments, commercial-led mixed-use schemes and work within the museum sector. Project values are typically £10m+.

Project Architect Job Overview

• Lead architectural projects through all RIBA Stages from inception to completion

Project Architect Job Requirements

• ARB Registered Architect
• Approximately 5+ years' experience working within an architectural practice (this can be inclusive of Part II experience)
• Proven experience leading projects across all RIBA Stages
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Revit
• Experience working on medium to large-scale projects, typically £10m+
• Ability to manage projects independently whilst working collaboratively within a team
• Experience across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Student Accommodation, Cultural, Heritage or Residential would be advantageous
• Live within a commutable distance of Kettering
