Greenshoot Consulting is seeking a talented Project Architect to assist in leading and delivering impactful projects, contributing to the evolution of our innovative architectural practice.

Greenshoot Consulting is a multidisciplinary design and consulting studio composed of architects, designers, consultants, and strategists. We deliver solutions across a breadth of sectors, with projects spanning public spaces, healthcare, commercial developments, and urban design across Victoria. Our work is deeply rooted in community engagement, including co-design initiatives with First Peoples.

We cultivate a collaborative, creative, and ambitious environment, and we see the Project Architect’s role as playing a key role in shaping a practice that champions innovation, inclusivity, and meaningful design.

The Role

As a Project Architect at Greenshoot Consulting, you will be instrumental in leading and delivering projects from conception to completion. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting all phases of project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Managing workflows and coordinating with consultants to achieve well-resolved, impactful designs.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
  • Providing hands-on technical expertise in Revit, CAD, and Rhino.
  • Mentoring and guiding our team of students of architecture, contributing to their professional growth.

You Will Have :

Experience & Expertise

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience is required, ideally having worked on local and a range of small to large-scale projects.
  • Strong technical and construction knowledge.
  • Highly developed skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Registered Architect status.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Prior experience in community engagement, with experience working alongside First Peoples highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects from initial briefing to completion.
  • Strong planning skills, including resource modelling, programming, and task allocation.
  • Awareness of contractual responsibilities, including scope and deliverables.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with builders and contractors.
  • Experience leading project presentations and stakeholder management.

Travel & Hours of Work Requirements

Travel to regional locations in Victoria may be necessary as part of this role, given that we conduct work in the Melbourne Metro area and regional areas of Victoria.

Greenshoot Consulting supports a flexible approach to working hours, however expects staff to mainly work between the hours of 9.00am to 5.30pm. Reasonable overtime and some out-of-hours work is anticipated as part of this role.

Greenshoot Consulting offers a hybrid working model. For this role, there is an expectation that the individual will work from the office a minimum of four days per week, ensuring strong collaboration and engagement with the team and projects.
