The Company
Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with this fantastic client, a leading player in the UK Architectural market, operating across over 10 different market sectors, with projects in North America, the UK, and the Middle East.

We are currently working with them due to a growing portfolio of international work. They are seeking an Architect who will work with other members of their teams internationally to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of the architectural projects.

The Role

  1. Offers excellent career progression and we are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, driven and willing to contribute to the long term success and development of the architectural team.
  2. Responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues.
  3. Develop designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements.
  4. Coordinates design intent with other disciplines.
  5. Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
  6. Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards.
  7. Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contractor to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  8. Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls.

Qualifications/Experience

  1. ARB registered Architect.
  2. Strong technical understanding is essential.
  3. Experience in designing and running your own jobs.
  4. A strong team player willing to participate in business growth by maximising opportunities and being willing and able to support junior members.
