We are currently collaborating with them due to a growing portfolio of work, notably within their Defence and Education Sectors. They seek a professional who will work with other team members to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget, and aesthetic requirements of architectural projects.

The Role:

• Provide guidance on design and technical issues.
• Develop designs to ensure exemplary solutions that meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate design intent with other disciplines.
• Integrate engineering requirements, site surveys, and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
• Perform site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents, identify deviations, and liaise with owners and contractors to resolve issues promptly.
• Review project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, codes, and quality controls.

Qualifications/Experience:

• ARB registered Architect.
• Experience in the Defence or Education sectors is key.
• Experience in designing and managing your own projects.
• A strong team player willing to support business growth and mentor junior members.
• Knowledge of Scottish and English Building regulations is beneficial.
