Job Description:

Watlow is a global industrial technology and manufacturing leader providing engineering expertise and thermal products for industries such as semiconductor processing, environmental chambers, energy, diesel emissions, medical, and foodservice equipment. Role Overview:

The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions, including SCADA and process control systems, covering all project phases from requirements gathering to training.

Hybrid work – 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with customers to define system requirements
• Design automation systems including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
• Create functional and test specifications
• Implement control and SCADA software
• Perform system tests and commissioning
• Provide technical and sales support
• Collaborate with team members and ensure project completion using SMART objectives
• Coordinate with technical support and field engineers
• Mentor junior team members
• Conduct customer site visits for start-up, commissioning, training, and support

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Proven experience in control systems implementation and services
• Degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Experience with SCADA, specifically Aveva System Platform
• Ability to develop specifications and perform application engineering
• Strong technical and business acumen
• Effective communicator and team player
• Analytical and planning skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
