Job summary

Edinburgh Science Foundation seeks a Project and Sales Assistant to drive sales for schools’ science shows and workshops and to support touring programmes, including the Edinburgh Science Festival. You will help with the preparation and delivery phases, coordinating logistics, production needs and stakeholder communications.

This role supports a busy programming and operations team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of international projects and learning initiatives across Scotland and beyond.

About the Role

We are seeking a Project and Sales Assistant to provide high-quality sales and administrative support to our organisation. This is an exciting and diverse opportunity focusing on our schools touring programme, Generation Science, and the annual Edinburgh Science Festival. The role is key to the smooth running of our busy programming and operations teams.

You will focus on selling science shows and workshops to schools, providing support for touring performers and supporting the smooth running of the preparation and delivery phases of these projects through administration of project logistics and production needs. This will include procurement of accommodation, travel, consumables and equipment, as well as effective communication with stakeholders and coordination of the print process.
