Job description

Project Administrator (up to 12 month contract), Wellington

Location: Wellington, Somerset

Hourly Rate: Up to £27, PA DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible start time between 8am and 9am)

We are seeking a well-organised and process-driven Project Administrator to join a global leader in manufacturing and packaging solutions known for innovation, sustainability, and diverse products. The role involves working with the Project Management Team Leader, sales colleagues, external customers, and suppliers to develop new product briefs into profitable, timely products. This is a contract position, starting as soon as possible for 6 to 12 months, requiring full commitment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact with internal and external customers and suppliers, building strong relationships.
  • Communicate project progress and information needs, assist with customer inquiries.
  • Work with approved suppliers on checks, colour matching, quality assessments, and present prototypes, samples, and specifications.
  • Check initial deliveries and set standards.
  • Keep accurate data/files and samples, ensure documentation is up to date, and conduct artwork checks.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise resources and cover colleagues' projects during absences.
  • Be aware of cost changes and approve costs with a pre-approved PO number.
