About This Role

The Training Manager – Innovation identifies opportunities for the improvement and innovation of individual courses or training modules. Once approved for change by Navy, they initiate the necessary Survey and Quote activity through CAE’s sub-contractors to commence the required innovation work.

Location: Head Office in Randwick or Homebush.

Role Responsibilities

  1. The planning and execution of the Continuous Improvement and Innovation Program, including horizon scanning, CII identification, analysis, and delivery.
  2. Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the program.
  3. Developing technical, commercial, financial, and subcontract arrangements for innovation.
  4. Ensuring all innovations are considered alongside delivery.

Essential Qualifications And Experience

  • Proven experience in the defence industry.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
  • Experience working with the Defence Training environment.

Security Clearance Requirement

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
