Wood Process and Energy Project Administrator/Coordinator

Wood Process and Energy is recruiting for a Project Administrator/Coordinator to support the project engineering team in the coordination, interfacing, and delivery of projects. This role will be based at the client's office in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide interface and maintain confident relationships with other project contributors.
  2. Support project evaluation parameters.
  3. Interact with the project sponsor/customer at a tactical level to support project delivery.
  4. Assist with reviews and reports on project progress for the Project Manager.
  5. Manage relationships with external suppliers at a tactical level.
  6. Solve problems requiring investigation and interpretation.
  7. Communicate relevant project information effectively and accurately to the customer and project team.
  8. Keep stakeholders informed about project status and issues impacting customer relations.
  9. Anticipate and address potential conflict situations affecting project delivery.
  10. Support the clients' procurement teams, purchase orders, and invoice receipting.
  11. Onboard all new team members across the GSK portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a university degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Understanding of metrics, data collection, and analysis methods, along with business awareness to facilitate data collection.
  • Basic knowledge of project success and benefits management on small, standard projects.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder and requirements management.
  • Ability to calculate costs and produce planned and actual cost and invoicing reports.
  • Awareness of project initiation processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of national and international quality assurance standards.
  • Understanding of locating and acquiring subcontracted goods and services.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements and consequences of non-compliance.
  • Familiarity with Work Breakdown Structures, task logic, and durations in relevant activities.
  • Ability to identify changes on projects.
  • Experience in document control and management environments, familiar with electronic document management systems.
  • Knowledge of setting and monitoring KPIs and value engineering for project performance.
  • Understanding of operational handover and close-out activities and their timescales.
  • Ability to produce relevant project management reports.
  • Good knowledge of company standards and practices related to design safety.
