Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Administrator (contract) to support our Middle Eastern clients gas project in the Reading office on a full-time basis. The role will be a contract position providing general administrative support to the day-to-day operations on the project.

The Role

The role provides general administrative support to the project team. You will be involved in many different things day to day such as purchasing, managing emails, creating and updating documents and spreadsheets, arranging meetings and greeting visitors.

Responsibilities

  1. Assists project team with day-to-day support of the project
  2. Organises and expedites flow of work through project and initiates follow up action
  3. Maintains knowledge of project status, scheduling requirements, and departmental operations / procedures
  4. Sets up and maintains hard copy and electronic site file directories
  5. Issues and approves access to shared project drives and websites
  6. Ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and / or business support services
  7. Performs clerical, administrative and general office duties including transcription, typing, and recording
  8. Ensures reports and documents follow company and project standards and quality
  9. Manages project specific forms and instructions
  10. Coordinates, schedules and prepares information for meetings and appointments
  11. Assists field operations with completion of daily time sheets
  12. Assists with onboarding / orientation of personnel
  13. Assists with internal and external project audits
  14. Arranges travel, accommodations and car rentals
  15. Prepares letters and memoranda for manager’s review
  16. Gathers data and material information to be billed
  17. Scans, emails, answers phones, makes copies

  1. Extensive previous project / admin experience in the Engineering and Construction industry desirable

  5. Experience of working within a team
