Background

This is a fixed-term part-time position for a Project Administrator to join the interdisciplinary AHRC-funded Curiosity project ‘Shakespeare and Early Modern Proverbial Culture’. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the project team, which is led by Dr Richard Meek (School of Humanities, University of Hull), and Dr Mel Evans (School of English, University of Leeds), and involves an international network of academics. Project activities include three interdisciplinary workshops, an international conference, and linked public engagement events.

The role

The primary duties and responsibilities of the post are to work closely with the Project Lead and Project Co-Lead to support them with the administrative aspects of the project. The role holder will be expected to collaborate effectively with national and international colleagues who are part of the research network, and with other organisations and stakeholders involved in the project. The role holder will make substantial administrative contributions, including managing the project website and social media accounts; activity promotion and dissemination; booking hotels and travel for participants in the workshops and conference; room bookings; responding to email queries; gathering evidence of impact; and conducting audience surveys.
