Project Administrator

WB Power Services are currently recruiting for a Project Administrator to work in our head office, in Heanor, Derbyshire. We are seeking a motivated Project Administrator to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects. As a Project Administrator, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of various project elements.

The Role

  1. Assist in managing and controlling administrative tasks.
  2. Ensure the effective control and updating of management systems.
  3. Utilize Protean for scheduling works & liaise with internal departments & WBPS engineers.
  4. Manage paperwork submission & document uploading.
  5. Collaborate with projects team colleagues, aiding & support as needed.
  6. Generate reports to update the projects manager on project status.
  7. Facilitate engineer’s hotel bookings, congestion charges, holidays, sickness, and expenses.
  8. Handle incoming calls & record the information.
  9. Monitor the receipt of ordered items.
  10. Attend weekly planning meetings to review current project status.


The Person

  1. Previous Coordinator or Administration experience is desirable.
  2. Preferably in a project or engineering environment.
  3. Confident with communicating via telephone, face-to-face and email.
  4. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  5. Proficient in using Protean or similar project scheduling tools.
  6. Proficient in document management and reporting.
  7. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  9. Resilient and tenacious in approach to work.
  10. The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
