Job Description
Project Administrator

The Project Administrator will report to the Senior Project Manager and work primarily within the Operations Department supporting the Operations team and Engineering team where required.

Working with these existing, experienced staff, they will also be required to liaise with clients to ensure their requirements and specifications are being met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, co-ordinate and track through to completion customer I.T and Systems enablement/set-up activities which allows our Engineers to access and function within the project domains. This activity involves significant interfacing with the customer to arrange and facilitate the required systems access and permissions for our Engineers. (NOTE: Tuition will be provided until confident to stand-alone - support is available within the Ops team)
  • Set-up newly won projects (admin) within the project management system.
  • Ensure the week-to-week project administration is compliant with the company Quality Management System requirements.
  • Assist with processing Purchase Orders and entering new inputs into the system.
  • Provide support to commercial tracking of projects each month.
  • Verifying and entering of data into the Project Management Systems to track and report internally on Project progress.
  • Support with the continual improvement of Projects processes and procedures.
  • Provide support with other reasonable departmental requests.

  • The Project Administrator will be a committed, enthusiastic and proactive member of the Project Organisation, willing to undertake other roles and tasks within the organisation as and when required.
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience in a similar Project Administration role will be taken into consideration.
